6. augusta 2021After the first part taking place in the Hungarian town of Eger the vulcān: activate your local energy project as the outcome of an international collaboration between independent electronic dance music visual artists, DJs and producers has been activated in Slovakia as well – located directly in the historical heart of the Slovak town of Banská Štiavnica.
Welcome in your home cinemas and sound systems the opportunity to entertain while getting to know noteworthy towns and cities, their historical and natural beauties within the scope of culture and art typical for the countries of the European Quartet. In the unique project known as vulcān: activate your local energy you get the chance to familiarize yourself with special locations of the neighbouring countries through the lens embodied by the cooperation of artists originating from the Visegrad Group countries. One of the main concepts of the project is to provide representation of all four countries in each and every part. Different visual artists are delegated to the different countries, where they gather inspiration, and eventually creatively present it all in a studio. Consequently, original visual piece of art gets exclusive soundtrack from a producer and DJ from one of the Visegrad Group countries. The second video of the series of four will also be live streamed or you will be able to watch it on the vulcān productions YouTube channel. The audience will see there the Polish visual artist duo known as Elwira Wojtunik, Popesz Csaba Láng / Elektro Moon, the Hungarian producer and DJ duo Secret Factory and the scenery will be provided by the Slovak location in connection with Kvant studio, known for its top-notch quality technology.
Banská Štiavnica, Slovakia
Captures seen in the video are mostly from the historic town centre and from the Calvary Banská Štiavnica. Enjoy the view of the unique urban conservation inscribed on the World Heritage List, located in the Štiavnica Mountains protected landscape area.
Elektro Moon Vision, Poland
The visual artwork challenge was accepted by the reputable duo from Poland, whose art focuses on creating interactive multimedia installations, wide-format projections, 3D projection mapping and scenography. Their works are presented on significant international art exhibitions and events in the different areas of digital media. Like the first one, the second part of the vulcān: activate your local energy project will take place in Kvant’s studio. DJs appearing in the video are surrounded by lasers designed and produced in Slovakia.
Secret Factory, Hungary
One of the most ambitious duo within both, club and festival type of Hungarian electronic music. They became famous thanks to their unique eclectic style, widely spread among independent electronic dance music fans. Their club series called Secret Fusion has been ruling the Hungarian music terrain for almost 20 years now. In 2019 the duo established the Secret Fusion Records publishing house.
